NC Parliamentary Party Meeting to Discuss Strategies to Resume Parliamentary Sessions

Kathmandu: The parliamentary party meeting of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) is scheduled to convene today at 1:00 pm. The meeting will be held at Lotse Hall in the Federal Parliament Building located in Naya Baneshwor.

According to Ramesh Lekhak, the chief whip of the NC parliamentary party, the primary agenda of the meeting will be centered around strategies to resume parliamentary sessions and expedite the progression of pending bills. The parliamentary proceedings have been stalled for an extended period due to persistent opposition from the CPN (UML).

Furthermore, Chief Whip Lekhak mentioned that during the NC parliamentary party meeting, discussions will also revolve around enhancing the participation of NC lawmakers in parliamentary sessions.

Additionally, the meeting will address concerns regarding the containment of dengue disease, the outbreak of lumpy skin disease among livestock, instances of conjunctivitis, and other pertinent matters.
